Freeze authority on Solana

Can token accounts be frozen?

A freeze authority can freeze token accounts. That may prevent a holder from transferring or selling tokens while the account is frozen.

What BitSan looks for

BitSan reports whether the freeze authority is present, absent in the recorded check, or unknown. Unknown is not a pass.

Evidence source: Recorded mint account authority.

What this cannot tell you

Removing a freeze authority does not guarantee a successful sale. Pool conditions, liquidity, other token features and transaction execution also matter.

How it relates to the bot

The inspected trading code refuses a mint with an active freeze authority during its pre-entry safety read.

This guide does not assess a specific token. Open a token report for available current checks; no trade is evaluated here.
